20 years ago I skipped out on art school and opted for a career in hair instead. It proved to be the right choice because here I am now still fueling my creativity strand by strand.
Things you should know about me: I will always tell you the truth(about your hair OR about your boyfriend!), I am a great listener, and I love all things design!
When you sit in my chair I will listen intently, ask lots of questions, and explain in detail what we’re about to do and why. I do all this because I want what’s best for you- your hair texture, your lifestyle, your styling skills.. because no one wants hair they can’t do at home!

I have always wanted to empower women, and making them feel beautiful each and every day makes my career that much more magical.
I have a strong background in editorial work, weddings and a passion for fashion colors as well as lived-in color techniques. You’ll never grow bored with me, though-my love for education drives me to keep on top of current trends and I can confidently say I can deliver any type of style you want!
I am beyond outdoorsy-My love for camping and hiking is only superseded by my love for my dog, Zion. He is truly a girl’s best friend! When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me living my best dog mom life.

I’m originally from Seattle and recently relocated to Kansas City. As a stylist of 6 years my goal is to create something special for each individual client and their needs. My passion is everything color and balyage! I love connecting with people and can’t wait to meet you soon!

My hair journey started pretty young. Growing up I had no idea how to take care of my curls, so I just didn’t. It wasn’t until I was out of high school that I understood the power of loving your natural texture instead of fighting it!
Today, curly girls hold a special place in my heart. Nothing brings me more joy than watching my clients learn to love their natural hair!
Additionally, I also really enjoy fun “edgy looks” like shags and mullets. Really anything outside of the norm is right up my alley.
From makeup to tatoos to curating my own thrifted outfits, I’ve spent my whole life expressing myself through different mediums. I’ve always been an artist at heart and I’m so happy to have found my passion.
As an avid recycler and lover of the environment the ethos of the salon is something I value deeply and am lucky to have found. I look forward to having you in my chair!

Our resident therapy dog and the perfect snuggler. You’ll find Oliver hanging around the shop a few days a week when he comes to work with mom(our owner, Michelle). Oliver is a 2 year old French Bulldog who is well behaved minus his crazy excitement for pup cups and toddlers. He is friendly in every way, loves to sit on your lap or under his coworker’s chairs, and enjoys greeting you with puppy kisses.

I’m a hairstylist form KC with a life-long passion for the arts. To me, hair is a canvas: another medium for creativity. I believe that hair should never be a one-size-fits-all. It should be customized to suit each client’s wants, needs and lifestyle. My goal is to create a hairstyle that not only makes you feel confident when you leave the salon, but is also easy for you to maintain at home.
I am dedicated to joining you in your hair journey and helping you discover styles that reflect your unique self!
As an avid animal lover, I could talk about pets all day long! When I’m not in the salon you’ll often find me painting, print making or drawing at a local coffee shop.
